what a great night at the Children and Family #Emmys ! we didn't win for directing Mysterious Benedict Society but it was truly an honor to be nominated! here's pics from the night and a video of the moment me and @aprillwinney lost to the show we knew we'd lose to 🙃
wow! what an honor it is to be nominated for an Emmy for directing the Mysterious Benedict Society, alongside all the other great directors on season 2! (this is my 4th Emmy nomination and my first for directing!!) sadly, the show is no longer available on Disney+, so here's some BTS and some before-and-after VFX comparisons from my episode, which is still one of the works i'm proudest of!

on Saturday i was re-elected to the Directors Guild's national board, this time as a full member. here's pics of some of our Asian American members, of us three chairs of the Guild's Asian American committee, and a partial list of those elected which will make it clear what an honor it is to have a seat at the table and to keep fighting for the under-represented voices in our union.

the final season of #NeverHaveIEver is out today on Netflix!! it's been an unbelievable honor to be part of this culture-redefining show, and it would never have happened without creators @mindykaling and @loulielang . (somehow Lang and i never got a pic together?!) it was a thrill to direct part of each season, and to be part of changing the perception of South Asians in America. i hope you enjoy it!
