There is a reoccurring truth that has come in many forms leading up to this moment. I’ve come to realize that bitter and sweet both coexist in this life. There were many tears and much grieving in 2023, but there was absolute breakthrough and triumphs to celebrate as well!
I am so thankful for a God who keeps me on the pottery wheel and in His creative hands. Thankful for all the loved ones and moments held between each person in this reflective reel! I’m celebrating all of 2023 today and excited for 2024!

To my stellar cast (get it?), you all are superstars (get it? x2)! I’m so grateful for your hard work and collaboration on this project. It truly is what it is because of you, and I’m proud of both it and each of you. 🤍
I encourage you to watch the dance unbiased first, but here is a little background info for curious minds:
This work was based on my research about perfectionism and its negative effects on individuals. I opened my paper with a quote from Anne Wilson Schaef:
“Perfectionism is self-abuse of the highest order.”
I wanted to explore the pain and rigidity perfectionism brings. Even more importantly, I wanted to explore what relief from its weight might feel like and how such relief might come about. I hope that this piece inspires new thoughts and ignites new hope in you as a viewer. 🤍
