🔇Many will disagree🤷🏻‍♀️, but the truth is - motivation is a myth💔. It’s a fancy word to use as an excuse when you “don’t have it” so you can skip the work!🏃🏽‍♀️ . ⏰HABIT ON THE OTHER HAND is not fancy. It’s simple. You don’t need motivation to brush your teeth, you still DO IT. Same with many other habits. Don’t think, just do, enjoy the consequences later. 4 years of consistent (!!!) work! Never, NOT ONCE a workout came easy. It’s always DRAGGING myself out of bed, out of HOUSE routine, out of life without self-care. Until it became a habit. . First came many hours of consistently doing the same thing over and over. . Like today - I had zero motivation to workout. But HABIT beats it. It wins! I went and squat my ass off until I can’t walk. . NOW (after) -> the result is amazing. Now I have the motivation - to live, to work and to love my family. . You can join me and create your habit. If you like me ate plov yesterday, it would be great if you did this! The idea is to first go very very far. Then sweat and move for about 20-25 mins and then walk back. Why is that beneficial? 3 things. 1. You are warming up, getting distracted from daily routine so already getting in the right mindset. 2. Your workout will be a good way to get your heart rate up adding intensity and stretch after walk. 3. Cool off on the way back- also kind of a meditation. It’s a perfect #combo . I guarantee you won’t regret it. . Tell me honestly how much time you spend thinking of things you want to do in stead of doing them? Hoping to start something on Monday, the first of the month, etc. It’s insane how gyms fill up firsts days of January and in one month things get back to normal.
