Little WIP from today. Making a person in Mountain Pose. I figure skated for 13years and have done yoga on and off over 12 years so I’m just naturally drawn to making human forms. Fun to add some color and more detail this time.
We’ve been having the best rain showers and thunderstorms recently. Seeing more rainbows, wet duckies, and growing plants/lawns. Feels a lot better than last year which was dry and hot. Thank you rain gods!! 🙏🌈❤️
I hated flowers from early childhood to mid adulthood. I don’t think it was necessary even flowers themselves that I disliked, I think it was flower pattern clothes/items that made me not stoked on them. I’ve always loved flowers in their natural environment most tho. But as I’m getting older I’m finding more appreciation for flowers (still don’t like flower patterns 🤢🤮) and these roses stopped me in my tracks at the grocery store recently. Grateful for my ever transforming perspective on life and things I maybe used to not like too much.
My first ever wig wag! I didn’t understand them for the longest time but now that I spend more time on the torch and feel more confident with my skills and not wasting a bunch of color glass, wanted to give it a try! I made a turtle with this color section. Pics to come!
I had such a fun bday weekend! Got to celebrate @itsjustkyleiguess bday, got to celebrate mine and and Father’s Day, then went tubing Monday! Such a fun weekend 😎
I had such an awesome day with @kujoglass and @tatsbybrittb (and Britt’s partner Nick) at Rainbow River!! I’ve been coming to this spring for 14 years now and this was my first time going with goggles and a camera and it was so much fun finally being able to record my favorite things about the river ❤️
I don’t push myself often enough on the torch so decided I need to change that. Here’s a lady sculpture doing a sit spin/shoot the duck. I figure skated for 13 years in my childhood and when I started blowing glass I wanted to make figure skaters. Now that I have the ability to, it’s super fun to watch the figure some together!
