This weekend was truly something spectacular. An entire weekend dedicated to the success and that everything Laugh Out Loud and Lillie accomplished for 17 years was something that I’ll treasure for years to come. It really meant so much to be a small part in something that meant so much to so so so so much to so many people, including myself.
Lillie created a space that allowed us to play, create friendships, and grow and more importantly, she created a home for us all. Frankly, I don’t know who I would be today without this theatre. Lillie helped push me in to the performer and artist that I am today and I am so deeply grateful for that. I’m going to miss the van rides to and from Schaumburg, the pre-show bits and sprints to Jamba Juice, but more than anything, I’m going to miss this space where I had a reason to see so many people that I love in one place on any Friday and Saturday where we got to make so many people laugh (and sometimes boo). Thank you so much for everything, Laugh Out Loud. ❤️
