My grandma, Betty Lou Tiegs, and I shared many things. A soft spoken but stubborn Swede, she taught me to bake and sew, shared an appreciation for all sorts of puzzles and jewelry treasures, and a love for chocolate, popcorn and of course, coffee. Most importantly, she taught that the truest way to show genuine love was to do so selflessly, without any worry over time, effort or resources, and with the highest regard for attention to detail. She showed me the beauty in life’s simplicities and how being a kind person can have an enormous impact on the lives of so many others.
I love you so much Grandma B, not a day goes by that I don’t miss you. May you rest in peace our sweetest angel ♡
