As a child, I’ve always loved singing. No matter how hard I tried to bury the idea of singing, it always found a way to pop back up. Last year, I finally decided to listen to my inner child and started taking singing lessons. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life. Singing gives me so much energy, joy and is very healing. I’ve always struggled with the fact that I am a very sensitive and emotional person. Growing up I learned that this is a no-go. Through singing I’m learning to accept and embrace this part of me. Finally these characteristics are my strength. I’m aware that I haven’t reached the finish line with my skills, but damn does it feel good to be one step closer than I was yesterday. Everyday growing, evolving and finding my way back to myself. ❤️🌻🌞😇
