🌖 6 moons later & with the return of my cycle, we closed the birth chapter 💫
We planted his placenta, rooting him to the earth whilst giving thanks and honouring the journey we all went through.
We picked out a lemonade tree, sweet & sour - a perfect blend of what we want for our son. A balanced, sweet and resilient boy.
We made a clay dish to put his placenta into and imprinted his handprint (well what we got of it 😅)
We buried the placenta and covered it with dirt, flowers, shells and rocks before planting our lemonade tree for Flynn 🍋 Thank you to
@theseedcollective &
@rhiannonjamesdoula for tips on planting our placenta 🌱
I also took some time to honour my body and had a closing the bones ceremony/massage. It was beautiful and exactly what I needed. I rested, cried & felt so much gratitude. Thank you
@returntoselfmassage - you’re amazing Laura!
I’ve been feeling extra emotional lately and crying lots of happy tears. So thankful for the space you continually hold for me
@shannsmith__ - I love you and our family ❤️ we’re so lucky to be blessed with our boy Flynn.
Women are amazing & I’m so in awe of our bodies ✨❤️🌒 if you haven’t already and want to close ANY chapter in your life, I would definitely recommend a closing the bones ceremony with Laura. It’s so nurturing!
