There is a darkness in our world that I believe can only be conquered by love and light. This comes from within each and every one of us. The killing has to stop. The hatred needs to stop. We must acknowledge our differences and then rise above them. There is an ugly history of the oppression of black people that can never be erased but it is our jobs TODAY to put an end to it. I believe in our generation and our species to change. I continue to pray every day for people to seek the love that God has placed in our hearts. LOVE can conquer all evil. My black brothers and sisters: we are seen, we are heard, we are loved and we are supported. Witnessing the rallies and marches and people from all difference races coming together gives me hope and I pray that significant change comes from this.
