Many moms experience feeding challenges at some point when it comes to their children. Allergies, picky eaters, issues with breast milk supply, etc. are common scenarios that can feel overwhelming and scary.
When we made Kiki Milk, I was a new mom who was hoping to breastfeed until my son was 1 year old or more. However, 75% of mom’s experience a significant drop in their breast milk supply around 6-9 months postpartum. This is a statistic many moms aren’t taught and subsequently don’t prepare for.
Our son had colic and along with that comes a very common soy and dairy aversion, two of the most common food aversions. After trying everything to boost my supply, we still needed to look at supplementing my breast milk with formula, and the only two options available on the U.S. market were dairy and soy - the two specific foods Alakai couldn’t have.
I was shocked there wasn’t a clean, organic and wholly nourishing option made from plants, specifically for kids.
As we dove into the infant formula industry, Alakai turned 1 and started eating solid foods. As he no longer needed an infant formula, I thought, great! …now we can go to the grocery store and buy a great dairy free milk option for him!
I was so surprised to find nothing specifically made for little kids. I wanted something organic, allergen free, gum free, nourishing, safe (free from heavy metals and glyphosate residue ) that was delicious - so he would actually drink it- AND loaded with calcium!
We faced the same problem here as we did looking for a baby formula option, so we created Kiki Milk, specifically made for kids but can be enjoyed by adults too!
Although we are hard at work to bring a PlantBaby Infant formula to life in a couple of years, Kiki Milk is NOT a replacement for infant formula. Kiki Milk is for little growing bodies who are consuming solid foods and 1 yr old+.
It’s an amazing transition milk with is similar protein profile to breast milk, filled with fiber, good fats, clean carbohydrates and calcium. It’s easy to digest and taste tested by kiddos around the world!

You can bake up these gluten-free vanilla donuts in 30 minutes 🍩

Here’s what you do:
MIX DRY INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups @namastefoodsco gluten-free baking flour
⅔ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
ADD WET INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
¾ cup @Kikimilk
½ cup oil
FOR THE GLAZE:
1 ½ cups powdered sugar (we used monk fruit powdered sugar)
1-2 tablespoons @Kikimilk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
@gosupernatural sprinkles for topping
Pour the donut batter into a large ziploc bag. Cut a 1-inch hole in the corner of the bag and pipe the donut batter into the prepared pans.
Bake the donuts for 10-12 minutes at 425F.
Remove from the oven and turn out onto a cooling rack. Let the donuts cool for 15 minutes before glazing.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
Dip the donuts in the glaze and top with sprinkles. Enjoy!
