It still shocks me to reflect on my travels. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be champagne tasting in the champagne region of France. Literally walking along Avenue de Champagne!! To all fellow travelers bound for Paris, make sure you travel outside the city to visit Epernay. It’s 1hr30 min train ride away. No guides or drivers required, you can walk along the avenue and sip until your heart is content. On our visit we visited 4-5 houses, no appointment needed. Walk in that MF and say, “I’ve arrived!” Just kidding, don’t do that 🤣 but walk in and ask for a tasting. It’s that simple. Get this, we ended up purchasing these cute champagne glasses and something called Ratifa. That’s the third press of the grape and that’s more of a port not a champagne 💁🏾‍♀️ Any way, you won’t regret visiting Epernay.
