Just talked about this performance experience from 17yrs ago (!!) the other day and how an 8yr old little girl came up to me after the show telling me how inspired she was and that she wanted to be like me when she grew up😭🥰 Instantly moved, it unexpectedly brought gratitude full circle when I was just loving the moment of dancing on that stage, proud of myself for achieving a goal I wanted and relieved I didn’t break a stage light with my hoop lol. That mesmerized little 8yr old unknowingly revealed the beautiful power and responsibility I have in affecting others with positive intent. You never really know all the hearts you truly touch with your gifts, but it’s humbling to be reminded. Sharing something I naturally love and believe in got infinitely richer when I saw the ripples of inspiration and joy it brought her, and others.
