Share this with any friends that have summer travel 🫶 I love eating minimally processed food as much as possible, but sometimes I need snacks on the go — especially while traveling. I’ve found it’s always better to be prepared because some airports/airlines don’t have many healthy options. sometimes I bring these snacks and don’t end up eating much because I’m able to get fresh healthy options like fruit, bowls, protein smoothie, etc. but it’s always nice to have the option. these are my favorites: protein bars - @alohamoment cheez thins - @everybody_eating chocolate - @hukitchen pretzels - @fitjoy fruit bars - @thatsit lemon balm tea - @tradmedicinals you can find these at @wholefoods or on Amazon, or at local health food stores. #travelsnacks #healthytravel #wellnessjourney #healthyhabits #travel #glutenfreetravel #healthylifestyle #healthyhacks #whatieatinaday #dairyfree

simplest hack but it works ✔️ I have a major sweet tooth, so I keep that in mind when organizing my fridge. Instead of keeping treats front and center, I keep them behind healthier options. I’ve learned through my marketing career just how influential packaging can be. For example, cookie brands might use certain images (a warm melted cookie) or colors (like hot pink or bright blue) on their packaging to catch your attention. There’s a huge layer of psychology to it. That’s why I display healthy options like bright fruit so I reach for that first. I love to listen to my body and if I want something sweet, I indulge. But sometimes I am 0% hungry but just want to open up the fridge and eat because I’m bored. This little hack helps me make healthy choices in those moments 🫶 To get my other fridge org hacks check out my latest yt video where I organize my fridge. #healthylifestyle #healthyhacks #fridgeorganization #healthykitchen #healthytips #pcoslifestyle #cravings #healthyhabits #wellnessblogger #wellnessjourney

no, today’s not my birthday lol 🥳 a couple of months late (i am 10000% an Aries lol) but realized I hadn’t shared this what I eat in a day on ig yet. these are some of my favorite things all packed into one day, from homemade gluten free dairy free french toast to a fresh smoothie and bowl, to a delicious japenese tapas dinner at @uchikorestaurants followed by the best ice cream cake at @gati.icecream 🍰 i love feeling good and choosing healthy options, but I also loooove food and the experience of dining. so I’ve learned to mix the two where I can enjoy myself but still feel great after eating. the french toast and chocolate cherry smoothie recipes are up on youtubeee, along with the full vid 🫶 #whatieatinaday #pcosdiet #healthylifestyle #wellness #wellnessjourney #healthyhabits #morningmotivation #selflove #wellnessblogger #inspirational #healthyeating #glutenfree #dairyfree #wellness #atxfood

I used to find a lot of comfort in routines, until I realized how bored I was. Like, truly bored out of my mind. I had over scheduled every part of my week to the point where I didn’t have ANY flexibility to try new things. And I was putting so much pressure on myself to do everything perfectly until I woke up one day and thought - wait a sec, I’m not even enjoying this. don’t get me wrong, I still love building a foundation of my schedule with key habits and a good morning routine. but I started adding in flexibility and blocking time specifically to try new things, at least twice a month. 💡 that’s how I started reading more, playing new sports, trying new restaurants, exploring new places, and found myself overall happier and feeling sharper mentally. the research doesn’t lie - trying new things gives us a boost. not sure what to try? think about what you loved as a kid and brainstorm activities that relate to that 🫶 #healthylifestyle #wellness #wellnessjourney #healthytips #pcos #healthyhabits #morningmotivation #selfcare #selflove #mindset #wellnessblogger #inspirational #motivational #pickleball #motivationmonday

loving this chocolate brownie mug cake to the point where I’m eating it on repeat lately for dessert 🍫 it’s become a staple in our house when we’re craving a baked good dessert, but don’t want a whole batch. it hits all the marks for me - quick, easy, healthier ingredients, and single serve (aka no chance that I’ll eat the whole brownie tray lol) BROWNIE MUG CAKE: -1.5 tbsp nut or seed butter -1 tsp vanilla extract -2 tbsp almond flour -2 tbsp cacao powder -1 tbsp coconut sugar -3 tbsp plant based milk -chocolate chips to taste -any toppings you like 🫶 recipe video is up on yt - enjoy xx #mugcakes #brownies #easydessert #quickdessert #healthydessert #easyrecipes #dairyfreerecipe #healthyswaps #pcos #healthyeating #healthylifestyle #wellness #glutenfreebrownies #dairyfreedessert

I love visiting new places BUT don’t love how I feel when my routines get totally thrown off. I am a routine-loving planner to the max, and the foundation of my routine is always food — if I can eat at normal times and find healthy options, I’m happy. Between all the travel I’ve done (sometimes several trips a month) I learned how to find amazing healthy options nearly anywhere. On my recent trip to Tampa & St Pete I discovered sooo many good places like @solstpete @craftkafe @paradecocoffee and more. ✨ A few tips I love for eating healthy while traveling: -find restaurant options in advance -drink a ton of water — I am constantly chugging water esp before/after flying -squeeze in lots of veggies/fiber to promote regular digestion (smoothies / juices are a good supplement) -get enough healthy proteins and fats -enjoy yourself and have fun treats (there are healthier treats, too!) this vid shares what I eat in a day, but every day looks different esp while traveling. 🫶 #whatieatinaday #pcosdiet #wellnessjourney #healthyeating #dayofeating #healthyfood #antiinflammatory #healthyliving #wellness #healthymealideas #healthylifestyle #stpete #healthytravel

unpopular opinion: I don’t want an entire batch of brownies in my kitchen 😅 as someone with pcos (and a normal human lol) i have little self control when it comes to sweets, esp if they’re right in front of me. so here’s my best hack: when you want something decadent, try single serve desserts. you can still enjoy an amazing treat but you don’t have to worry about turning down the rest of the brownie batch every time you’re in the kitchen. this chocolate brownie mug cake is SO tasty and has some added protein. I throw it together in a couple mins for a quick and easy dessert. 🍫 BROWNIE MUG CAKE: -1.5 tbsp nut or seed butter -1 tsp vanilla extract -2 tbsp almond flour -2 tbsp cacao powder -1 tbsp coconut sugar -3 tbsp plant based milk -chocolate chips to taste -any toppings you like 🫶 recipe video is up on yt #mugcakes #healthybrownies #quickdessert #healthydessert #singleserve #pcosdiet #whatieatinaday #wellnessjourney #dairyfreerecipes #glutenfree #healthyswaps #easyrecipes #easydessert

these mango avocado spring rolls are the BEST fresh snack with a healthy twist ✨ they’re usually made with white rice wraps + white vermicelli noodles, but white rice can be a struggle for me with PCOS — i have to pair it carefully / limit it or it triggers symptoms. I loooooove Vietnamese food so I created these rolls with a few healthy swaps to prevent a huge blood sugar spike — ✨ brown rice wraps instead of white rice ✨ quinoa instead of vermicelli noodles (random but GOOD) for an extra protein boost ✨ avocado for a healthy fat + fresh cucumber can help reduce blood sugar levels 🖤 super easy to make and the mango avocado combo is gold. you can find the entire recipe on my yt channel! hot take: fruit is NOT the enemy we’re constantly hearing about the dangers of sugar because of the unnecessary amounts added to our food (hello, drinks with 87g of sugar at Starbucks), and sometimes I hear fruit lumped into that category to avoid. but I’ve found that fresh fruit (especially lower glycemic options) is a vital part of my diet with pcos. 🍒 and yall, starfruit is one of the most underrated fruits! it’s SO naturally beautiful + delicious, and I especially love it for women with PCOS. ✨ starfruit has a lower glycemic index, meaning it has less of an impact on blood sugar levels (which we love!). ✨ it’s rich in antioxidants and vitamin c, which can help reduce inflammation and prevent chronic low-grade inflammation associated with conditions like PCOS. ✨ it’s also packed with dietary fiber, which is so important for all of us when it comes to digestion and blood sugar levels. if you haven’t had one yet, I’d describe it as a crisp floral apple and almost grape combo (?!?) — super refreshing and aesthetically pleasing 🌟 Have you tried starfruit? #whatieatinaday #pcosdiet #starfruit #wellnessjourney #wellnessblogger #healthytips #healthylifestyle #dairyfree #pcos #healthyswaps #healthyeating #glutenfree #soyfree #healingjourney #hormonebalance #pcoslifestyle #healthysnack #wellnessaesthetic

What I eat in a day with PCOS… Lately I’ve been prioritizing more protein to feel my best, especially with PCOS. PCOS can cause insulin resistance which results in carb cravings, feeling hungry more often, and fatigue. And it’s not just affecting those with PCOS — 4 in 10 adults have insulin resistance. I love experimenting with different foods and noting how I feel after — it’s crazy how different you can feel after eating certain meals especially if your blood sugar spikes too high. I noticed I was struggling after lunch time with a big crash, so I started adding lean proteins to lunch that are easier for me to digest. The difference has been huge for my energy levels! An example day — tea, veggie juice, green smoothie, turkey bacon, salad w/ quinoa, black bean + veggie cassava quesadilla, veggies + quinoa + chicken, protein mug cake No gluten, dairy, soy (and some other allergies), and I avoid inflammatory foods. 🤍 Check out my latest YouTube video for the full breakdown of what I eat in a day and recipes. #whatieatinaday #pcosdiet #healthydessert #wellnessjourney #wellnessblogger #healthtips #healthylifestyle #dairyfree #pcos #healthyswaps #healthyeating #glutenfree #healthymeals #soyfree
