So happy to FINALLY announce the Moving Arts production of my play “My White Husband”! Come see these talented performers in this funny and challenging piece. Check the link in my bio or the @movingartstheatre page for tickets! Set the date: May 16 🤵🏿♂️👰🏾♂️🤵🏻♂️📺💒💍🍸
I had so much to celebrate this past weekend, but a bittersweet moment was the closing weekend of my play, Calf.
Thank you to @outofhandatl , @marlonburnley , nikkiyo films and Joshua Turner for turning my vision into something so spectacular! The Incarceration System and the struggles that released citizens continue to face when out of prison is an important conversation that we must keep having.
Thank you to the artists, crew and hosts for all that you’ve done.

Two years ago, I was asked to write my first one-person performance about the prison system in America, and it scared the crap out of me. So of course I went ahead and did it!
Now it’s up and on it’s feet, thanks to the wonderful people at @outofhandatl . If you’re in the Atlanta area, or know anyone who is, please get your tickets. Shows are running from April 21st - May 22. Link is in my bio!
Calf’ tells the story of Eli “The Bull” Willis after his release from prison, as he tries to build a new life and meet his son for the first time.
Check out and support the amazing talents of @marlonburnley and director, Nikki Young. These artists are incredible!
So at 34 I still haven’t crossed ‘getting a personal photographer’ off my list. But I still have so much more…including a new stache 🥸 Happy Bday to me! We’ll just pretend last January 6 didn’t happen. Sending love and magic ❤️❤️❤️❤️
