Once again we had a lovely time training with @alexornothing last week! We appreciate her dedication and willingness to share her knowledge with us every day!
When there’s a heatwave we rig up fans and spoil the horses with lots of shade and cold baths as much as we can! Sporður clearly loves his fan right now!

Every year we are so thankful to everyone who makes the effort to join us for our show, whether they are trailering their horse in from just down the road, or trekking days to get to us from all around the country. We are always looking for ways to adapt to make our show user friendly for everyone from the newbie riders just learning about competition to the seasoned riders who are out chasing bigger goals. Our Triple Ice Championships was a fun time with old friends rejoining us again, and newcomers discovering our show for the first time!

We were pleased that a large number of our students decided to step onto the track and have some fun with us! @peter_heiniger took many of these photos! Days 2 and 3 of our Triple Ice Championships were once again filled with fun rides at all different levels! We also had some lovely Kentucky thunderstorms roll through on the last day but we pushed on and finished the day with classes in the indoor! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped this weekend - we can never manage a show like this without all the extra hands! Thank you to the judges for traveling to us from afar and giving us good feedback with which to keep progressing! And a huge thanks to all the riders for making the effort to join us with their horses each year! It’s wonderful to have returning faces and see new ones, and we look forward to seeing everyone next time!
Day 1 of our Triple Ice Championships here in Kentucky is complete! The weather was perfect and we had a lovely time with old and new friends on the tracks! Stay tuned for Day 2 excitement tomorrow!
„My” supergirl Ára, who is just becoming stronger, more stabil and elastic. She started into the season early this month with close to 7 in T1 and a solid 6.6 in V1. And it feels like she’s just starting to figure herself out.
