Halloween is always been my favourite time of year. But 4 years ago I added another reason.
Of course I love dressing up (I do it every week with drag, acting, music and my themed shows) but four years ago I went full time in music and I have not looked back.
It’s actually wild to me I’ve been living my dream job. Making a living by playing, recording, creating, travelling with my music.
There has been so many highs including my first Netflix sync, living/playing in LA, touring Canada with my band, performing with
@thehoneyjam at TIFF, touring UK/Europe on my own, releasing 2 EPs, 1 LP hundreds of songs written, staged played, streets busked, and most importantly, being able to connect with all of you💖
Throughout these four years, I’ve also experienced a lot of hardships and have struggled to make ends meet at times. I’ve worked extremely hard leaving me no extra time or energy which caused relationships struggle. I had my cat on his death bed, and put my entire budget for an album to saving his life, I have lost loved ones and not been able to say goodbye because of shows. I’ve put my health at risk being an artist during a pandemic, my body has struggled with chronic illness and have given my all at shows despite being in pain, I’ve struggled with anxiety, depression, and overall burnout from doing it all on my own and not asking for help. But I’ve also learnt a lot about me and how I’ve recovered and pushed through my lows. I’m learning to celebrate my highs more too. And I’m excited going into another year of doing what I love. We just keep growing from here!
Here are some looks from the past couple weeks, and thank you for being a friend/supporter of this little rockstar!!!!
