North Macedonia 🇲🇰 Go for the beautiful mountains, leave for a decent meal.
Skopje has loads of cool statues- recent additions for the tourists apparently. The mountains are gorgeous, got a great view from the cross on the top.
Every meal was lukewarm 😕 maybe it’s a cultural thing??

Bulgaria 🇧🇬 I didn’t know what to expect, but we were relatively entertained for a few days.
They have incredible salads and desserts, and we did a super hardcore-hike.
OK it wasn’t that long, but it was steep and I was the oldest I had EVER been whilst hiking.
