My love for Salsa music brought me to start my own club night called @supersalsaymas with two wonderful collectors… my boo @alexsantosorchestra & my good friend @sailormercuryretrograde 💕 — All vinyl & Straight from our personal collections 🎧🎚️ We started in 2018 at various bars in Los Ángeles: @melodylounge & @eldoradodtla 🥃 💃🏽 We even teamed up with local chefs to cook up their best salsas to eat with chips 🌶️ When the pandemic closed down the clubs, we even did live streams on-line using Twitch and Instagram. And in 2024, @supersalsaymas we are excited to announce a new residency that includes live music 💃🏽✨ Stay tuned for an official announcement 📢✨

@faniarecords is celebrating their 60th anniversary 🎊 I was brought up listening to music from the FANIA catalog. My dad would open up for legends like Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, and the like. My love for salsa music came naturally and has been one of my favorite genres of music to collect on vinyl. I also LOVE to dance to Salsa music. It’s by far the best and most fun. It looks intimidating at first but trust me when I say, as long as you’re having fun, that’s all that matters. Algo bueno llegará pronto ✨ save the date July 21

Come in your best Dorothy-core or in midwest/southern gothic attire. Your staple Dark Disco fit will also do. DJs @discolovekat + @lindanuves + @lorehardcore and special guest @kaitlinbates will be spinning post-punk, darkwave, disco, electroclash, synth pop and more relevant beats all night. There will be a ⭐️COSTUME CONTEST⭐️ for the brightest star on the floor dressed to theme. Also 🌭HOT DOGS🌭 will be served outside by Piano Island Catering Co. 🤠 10PM / 21+ / NO COVER 🪓🪓🪓🪓
