On Tuesday, June 25th, LION Middle School staff had the distinct honor of presenting our wonderful 8th grade scholars as newly minted high school students!
Family and friends listened and watched intently as students described their growth at LION thus far, their plans to remain engaged and focused in high school, and their visions for post-secondary success.

On Monday, June 24th, family, friends, and staff gathered in the LION’s Den to watch our beloved 3rd grade scholars bid farewell to Elementary School and take their place in our community as esteemed middle school students!
A blast was had by all as our students delighted the crowd with show-stopping musical numbers, teachers spoke lovingly of our students’ incredible journey, and families beamed with pride at their adored honorees.

Our LION cubs are growing up!
On Monday, June 24th, we watched with glee as the youngest members of our pride joyfully crossed the stage and took their next steps on their incredible journey as LION 1st graders. Family, friends, and staff cheered exuberantly, cried bittersweet tears, and laughed whole heartedly as we celebrated this poignant milestone in our students’ lives.

A huge round of applause for our Middle School students for bringing down the house with their show-stopping production of The Lion King. The audience was filled with glee and nostalgia as we shouted along to “Hakuna Matata” bounced in our seats to “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” and cheered with delight as Simba took his place on Pride Rock. Shout out to our beloved staff who worked tirelessly to bring out a Broadway-worthy performance from our immensely talented students. Our dedicated student members of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) have made a positive impact on the Seneca Houses community by transforming their backyard into a vibrant and welcoming space where residents can enjoy their free time.
Students carefully selected a variety of plants and flowers and planted a beautiful garden, repainted the backyard, revitalized the space with uplifting colors, and created a serene environment that promotes relaxation and tranquility.
Their hard work and dedication have significantly enhanced the residents’ quality of life at Seneca Houses. Not only have they beautified the outdoor space, but they have also fostered a strong sense of community and LION pride.

A big thank-you to our dedicated staff, who played a vital role in creating a magical night for our families. From serving delicious food and drinks to showcasing their incredible dance moves, they truly brought the energy of the city to life.
