Fresh fig, almond & cacao nib ENERGY BITES! Simple and easy energy bites blended for a heart healthy snack. Indian baby squash… A classic Indian vegetable used to make great dishes! It’s similar to courgettes but they are small and round. Full of micronutrients and a great side dish to have with Indian curries, beans or dhaal (lentils). Almond & pistachio besan ladoos… A wholefood twist to a traditional indian sweet treat of mine. Heart healthy dhaal (lentils) with some added celery for crunch and mushrooms for some vitamin d! Lentils are a great source of complex carbohydrates and plant protein! They are so cheap and easy to make. I added some onion, garlic, ginger, masala, tumeric, nigella seeds, poppy seeds, black pepper, paprika, chilli and a spoon of @biotiful_gut_health kefir yoghurt for some extra creaminess! Indian tumeric, spinach & cumin cauliflower dish known as ‘gobi’ in punjabi. Accompanied with homemade fresh coriander chilli chutney and mint chutney🌶️ A classic Indian dish that my Mum always use to cook growing up as a kid. I used onions, garlic, a mix of spices, cumin, turmeric, tomoto puree, @hunterandgatheruk avocado oil and Mums freshly ground garam masala! Spices are fantastic as they are rich in phytochemicals, fight inflammation and add a whole lot of in depth flavour to any dish. 🫚🌶️🧄 Cooking homemade, fresh foods and using all parts of the vegetable is a great way to reach your daily plant points. Mini microwave vegan quiche A recent quick snack I tried using the microwave! I added @pulsin soya protein powder, some crumbled tofu, lentils, brocoli, spinach, pepper, celery, chilli, tumeric, baking powder and @marigoldengevita nutritional yeast. Mix it all up and put in the microwave for 90 seconds medium heat. Looks a bit messy but tastes great! Nice quick protein snack and you can whip up a side dip like salsa, guacamole or dip it into some soya sauce! Very messy but delicious dinner from the other night! Super quick and full of great nutrients! Got some spicy puy lentils with celery, broccoli, cailiflower, spinach and a nice chunky cod fillet 🐟 I also had some @eatlean cheese on the side and dipped it with @hunterandgatheruk bbq sauce! Their sauces are fantastic, no added sugars, all wholesome and natural ingredients!
