Words can’t express how special it was to reunite with so many friends in such a special city, to celebrate the marriage of @jlind1197 and @chriskaiser90 . The most perfect week there ever was ❤️
Putting 2022 in just ten photos isn’t easy, so here’s my best summary:
Started the year with Covid, danced, my hip hurt, had my final ballet bow, graduated from college, hip surgery to fix said hip, learned how to walk again, said goodbye to St. Louis, hello to NYC, and hello to a new job that allows me to spend more time with the people I love most
Well, cat’s out of the bag. I will be retiring from my career as a professional ballet dancer with Saint Louis Ballet, at the end of our 2021-2022 season. This past weekend marked my final performance on our @touhillumsl stage. One of the hardest decisions I’ve made, I cannot even put into words how grateful I am to have been able to realize my childhood dream of being a ballerina. And it’s not over just yet! We have one last performance at @thegrandelstl on May 21. If you’re in St Louis I hope to see you there! As for @stlouisballet and all of my friends and coworkers, I love you all and thank you for making this weekend so special 💕
