Really enjoyed this one, feel like my detail’s getting better with each drawing. It was a good, clear photo to draw from too which helps... but I really liked the different textures, the gilet/clothing catching the light, the wrist watch, facial hair, just small things but add to the overall finished piece.

This was a very special, tear jerking commission.
One of my lovely followers sadly lost her younger brother a little while ago and chose this much loved seaside photo for me to draw and capture a memory for a Mother’s Day present.
Needless to say it was more than just a commission given the story behind it and how much the photo meant to the family.
I feel very privileged to be able to do it.
The original was a little blurry but pleased with how it turned out 🥰💪🏼

A very heart warming commission!💕
This was a birthday present from a lovely follower for her fella (pictured left). His father (right) had died a long time ago and she managed to crop their heads from an old photo and recent one to make the photo you see on the left. She did a great job tbf 👏🏼
So, I had one very clear face to draw 👍🏼 and one very blurry face 🙈😬..
It was only when I finished that I felt relieved it came out pretty well!🥳They were both over the moon with it and emotional about capturing them both side by side at this point in time, “bringing his dad back to life”
This has been one of the most rewarding drawings I have done for someone. Never imagined how much I could bring to anyone just by picking up some pencils🥰💕💕🙏🏼

One of my favourite pet portraits, so a great closeup, clear photo. Love photos where I can draw teeth, tongue, shiny nose lol etc, good clear reflections in the eyes and even the chain you can see slightly.. just lots of different textures 👌🏼
All makes my job so much easier and enjoyable too. But also more interesting to look at hahah 👍🏼 🤩🥳🎉💕

First time drawing cats!☺️🎉
Fur’s pretty tough tbh 🤔 it’s so time consuming, you can’t really rush it as it’s a large part of the drawing 😂🙈but it’s one of those things that you feel you’re never making head way but seem to be drawing hairs forever 🤣🤣 then I’m like “YES” on to the eyeball!😂😂😂hahaha ffs
Turned out well though and the best part of doing this is when I get to show the client 🤩🎉
They were really chuffed and family thought it was a scan of the photo or something so that’s a MASSIVE compliment! Makes me SO happy!
This work takes me hours upon hours but the finished product and the value it adds to the clients makes me LOVE this SO much! SO rewarding💕!
A lot of clients are buying as presents for loved ones and 1) that makes me feel extremely proud they commissioned me for a special occasion but 2) Gives me such a massive buzz when I receive feedback of reactions to my work. Such thoughtful gift ideas too! 👌🏼 🥰💕
