“Vacation.” We’re still learning how to do it. But, riding back to the airport in a crummy rental car shuttle, all verging on getting sick, all I could think was, “I love my family.” Also, sorry Owen— most of your vacation took place under a giant floppy Gilligan bear hat. @pricesuddarth#mrmilosudds#ourowensudds
A caring coach with an endless supply of insight is a rarity. One who can turn around and get a multitude of Midsummer ballet bugs instantly in line is even harder to find. This “kindergarten cop” is both and more. I’m not alone in the fact that I’ll always be grateful for him as a part of my PNB.
Here are a few words that barely begin to sum up the daily impact of @oneubert1 [ /blog/celebrating-retiring-rehearsal-director-otto-neubert/ ] .

157.5 miles run in the month of May. All starting around 4:45am. All in an uneventful garage. Some with sunlight, some before it rose. Some with a tiny companion who didn’t feel like sleeping, bouncer-ing beside. Not necessarily ideal. Almost always sleepy. BUT, each chapter of life closes before you realize it. And this is just one chapter. Embracing THIS moment because someday, I’ll miss it.
4 already? How?
You can explain to us just what a solar wind is, and exactly why Neptune is your favorite planet. You sound out the words you see on the sides of buildings when we’re parked at red lights. You sing Lion King, or songs you made up (“chip bag” for one) at the top of your lungs. Your hugs have no time limit and your mooches are many. You say things like, “Standing is hard for me—it makes me more tired. Laying is not hard. Snuggling is definitely not hard... it’s really easy for me.”
You shine brighter every day. Never stop. We’re lucky parents, who love you “so so very so so very so much.” Happy birthday, Attila (as you’ve named yourself).
