You think golden hour is beautiful, try blue hour right before it truly gets dark in Vegas. Not only do the signs obviously turn on bringing the city to life, but you get the cool blue glow of the sky before it turns black and you see the beautiful remnants of the orange hues from sunset. It's the hour of peace before the city hits its peak and night fully begins in Vegas becoming the entertainment capital of the world. There's truly nothing like it.

I'm pretty proud of this one. It's not often I get to travel to the beach and shoot a gorgeous couple during sunset. I was told that normally on the California coast this time of year it's considered June Gloom, but this night was the complete opposite. The sun was the perfect glow, the weather was warm with a nice breeze, and Marcia & Fernando were stunning and carefree. We really couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Throwback to this stunning maternity session up in the mountains. Right now is prime time up at Mt Charleston and Lee Canyon. The mountains are continuously getting more and more green, some mountain blossoms are blooming, and of course the weather is completely ideal for summertime with a 20-30° difference. Many weekends I end up hiking some trails and always find something new. It's a beautiful area with a sharp contrast to the desert landscape Vegas is known for.

Can you believe a place like this exists in Vegas?? It's pretty hidden but the moment I heard about it and adventured out, I knew it would be one of the most special places out here. The light hits just right and the greenery....don't get me started on the greenery. This specific spot doesn't last like this all year, you have to take advantage of it when the time is right but trust me when I say, it's one of my favorite new locations.

If you're deciding between a long or short veil, 1000000% you should go the long veil route. Will it get messy by the end of the day? Yeah but you only get to do this once! There is so much you can do with long veils and honestly they are way too much fun not to play with. Now say it with me: Always Choose The Long Veil

Alycea & Dakota 7 years together through all the highs and lows. Taking that next step and making the ultimate commitment with zero regrets, ready for a lifelong adventure. I've never seen a couple more truly comfortable with one another to be completely and utterly themselves. That's how you know a couple is meant to last. Through true connection and raw moments. Life is a rollercoaster and if you have someone with whom you can show all sides to yourself and they're accepting, that's all you need. Let's be real, we all love the sweet romantic moments, but the ones that we remember most tend to be the ones where we have the most fun and find the most joy. Jump around, play tag, tickle each other, revel in the pleasure and happiness you both feel. We want the most intimate photos but don't forget to just have FUN.

Sometimes the best thing you can bring to your photoshoot is a big flowy dress you can run around in and play with. It's the little things that make the biggest difference ✨

You know me, I dabble in weddings, elopements, landscapes, travel, astrophotography and all things details. I can't sit still when it comes to photography. Not only do I get to document my own family and memories but if I have any down time at all, I'll pick up my camera and just go out and explore the outdoors. There's just so much beauty out in nature and with summer rearing its head, that means the milky way will be most visible and one night each month during the new moon I take time out to capture the stars and dreamy night skies. With weddings and elopements, it brings me complete joy out of getting to capture other people's most precious memories to always look back on. After all, photos are the one thing you take away from your wedding/elopement day. Simply put, photos are magic and discovering new points of view to setting a scene feeds my creative brain and there's nothing else in this world I'd rather be doing 💛

If you want the downtown feel without the crowds, rooftop garages are always a good idea. No worrying about random people making faces in the background, less hassle trying to find an open spot, and more area to breathe and just relax and have fun. You really have the whole area to just get creative and lean into intimate time with your partner. Keep in mind, you'll still have to be aware which rooftop garages are ok to shoot at as security can kick you out of certain places, but having someone knowledgeable about the area is super beneficial.

From the rings to the bouquet, to the tiniest moments shared between you and your partner. The number one thing you'll regret most during your photo shoot is not focusing on the tiny details and asking your photographer to shoot in a documentary-style. Because what are the moments you want to remember most? Is it the smile-and-cheese "look at the camera" moments or the times you got so close to kissing but ended up laughing in the process? How about the time he squeezed your thigh in the elevator before the doors closed? Or what about when you drove in a van together with nothing but the wind in your hair, belting out some of your favorite jams? I've said it once and I'll say it again... Document. Every. Detail.
