Thank you @benleh for not only being the bestest brother but for creating the beautiful sonic world around ”it’s so quiet” and for being part of all kinds of other things too on this EP. Thank you @grandjeanmanon for mixing this EP so beautifully, we’ve worked on many things already and I’m so amazed by your amazing work and work ethic every single time. “Might Not Wanna Wake Up” short film and EP came out 5 months ago now and this body of work has been living its own life since. The film has won “Best Experimental Film” at a few film festivals and been part of the official selections at numerous ones, including @siffnews where it’s having its North American film premiere tonight at 5:30pm as part of the queer shorts program ”Coloring Outside The Lines”. CRAZY!!! Thank you for having us @siffnews 🤍 This film and EP was a sort of return to the joy of creating, a project that in a way freed me of all the expectations I had collected for myself throughout the years. I wanted to create something beautiful with beautiful ppl, a safe haven. It has put me on a completely new path. An incredible one. I’m so insanely grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey in one way or another. Thank you. What an insane thing making music and films and just creating is, woah, so very grateful I get to do this.
