If you know me, you know how much of a Sony aficionado I am. From my first DSLR, to my thesis, to now. I’ve always been biased to a particular Japanese corporation. This is coming from the country that gave us One Piece. It’s a no brainer.
Will the person who worked with one of the best camera teams out there on a killer show, please take a sip of their drink.

It’s been a year since I left Panavision and started my career out in the field. The timing wasn’t the best with the ongoing strike, but I’ve been extremely fortunate. Not every job I’ve done has had that old school Hollywood glamor those CSUN professors lied to us about, but that’s not what we do it for. We do it for the crew because it’s a team effort, something a great 1st once said to me. I’ve met the most amazing, hardworking, and extremely talented people this year, that have taught me more than I could ask for, but I’m still learning. Thanks to everyone I’ve worked with, so far. Can’t wait for the insanity of next year with you all.

Year 1: Had terrible roommates
Year 2: Didn’t get into the film program, but I met my beautiful and amazing girlfriend.
Year 3: Gaffed my first senior thesis, started working outside of school on countless music videos, short films, and a few features
Year 4: Wrote & Directed my own senior thesis with the most incredible friends and crew I could ask for. Oh and I worked with Brad Peyton.
Needless to say, I worked my ass off these last 4 years. I had goals since the second I stepped onto campus and by God, did I meet every single one of them. Thank you to everyone who did nothing but bring me up when I struggled, and kept me in check when I went a little overboard. It’s going to be a very long and difficult road to the ASC, but I’ll manage. I mean, I am the smartest man alive, after all.
