whhhaattt!!!! @maineikinimaka ‘s first independent short film “Ka Huli” has been officially accepted into the 2024 Māoriland international film festival in Aotearoa 🌀 couldn’t be more proud of mainei, from writing, to shooting, directing, running sound, editing, even styling costumes. also very grateful that our entire community came together to share this story. this mo’olelo is about ‘ōhana, it’s about strength, and it’s about connection even in times of profound change. it was a labor of aloha, and i hope it inspires you to make art, share your truth, and change the way people see the world. e ola nā kūpuna, e ola hanalei!
