Gobekli Tepe, the zero point in time, is located 12 km northeast of Sanliurfa. Claimed to be the oldest settlement in the world, its megaliths in the settlement predate the Stonehenge, the Giza Pyramids, and the invention of writing by Sumerians around 5000-6000 years, and the site is claimed to be around 11000-12000 years old. Along with several interesting theories including being the first astronomical observatory, or perhaps even the biblical Garden of Eden, the site also has some agricultural traces which might again change the pre-historic eras known today. Every single clue found in this site will show some enlightment and correction in the human history, yet, only 5-10% of the site is excavated during the past couple of decades. Another 50 years will probably be needed to barely reach to the surface level and uncover all the fact existing in this Heritage.
