Harry’s Coffee Shop has been in business since 1960 when they first opened in La Jolla. Recently, they opened a new location in the heart of Del Mar in a corner building full of history and the American flag flying proudly . We went there on a Sunday morning and the place was packed!
Throngs of locals and tourists patiently waited in line for a table. We sat outside at the patio with our puppy, Mochi and admired the beautiful view and the friendly, smiling diverse crowd, many with their dogs and children enjoying the ocean breeze and sunshine.
What we ordered:
BW Benny - Belgian Waffle, Poached Eggs, Bacon Strips, Grilled Ham
Mediterranean Omelet – Feta, Onion, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Chicken Sausage, Basil
Blueberry Pancake – Our favorite, big, crispy edged and full of berries.

Harry’s Signature Coffee Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Mochi had her usual eggs and sausage and she demolished these in minutes. Kudos to the waitstaff who were very warm and attentive. Thank you so much for having us!
