My love of sweet daisies inspired this simple summer dress. I wanted it to fit a range of bodies so I used a soft and stretchy knit with an elastic empire fit. Models Alexis Vaughan @teen_model_alexis_grace_ and Kimani Corn @moni.elaine_modeling helped me showcase this dress during the @charlottefashiincollective @thecharlottefashioncollective photoshoot collab with the @matthewsreidhouse in NC while @mtoddphotography and @jlewis photography caught these shots. This is a special design dress 👗 that I call “The Janet” and it is named after a very special person to me @janetmenasian . I had SEW much fun making this. I fashioned the skirt out of a thrifted silk sheet I got from @miraclehillthriftstores and started my design.
