My tips for a modern looking Clean Girl makeup
💦 Keep the glow targeted and most importantly, *transparent*
- keeping it sheer and transparent, on specific areas of the face helps keep the face dimensional in a way that is subtle, modern and cool. For this, I love balmy textures. No visible shimmer here!
💦 As with the glow, a touch of color to the cheeks and lips feels more effortless when it’s not opaque. Lip and cheek tints, especially the ones from Korea and Japan are great for this. There are also “jelly” type cheek products on the market in stick form that can be used on the lips as well. Pat onto lips and cheeks, and blend out any visible edges. It should look like the color is coming from within
💦 Keep brows groomed but soft
- no opaque, concealer cut brows from 2016 please! A little brow gel, and soft flicks of a brow pen or pencil in any sparse areas that need a little love is all you need
💦 When it comes to complexion, less is more. Skin tints are much more user friendly than traditional foundation. Use sheerly only where needed to even out any discoloration or unevenness.
