I haven’t been posting much on here recently; I’ve got a lot going on in amongst touring, music production, and renovating my new place. It’s been a wild few months, the race to the top of the album charts combined with a sold out tour has kept me pretty busy - I am spread so thin! Apologies to anyone who hasn’t heard back from me, I haven’t been as on top of messaging as I’d like to be. Thank you for your patience 🙏
I spent my birthday chilling with my love on a well needed day off. The day before I was extremely fortunate to share a day with Dan & Mick at @that_pedal_show talking all things bands, gear and so on. Playing loud guitars, showing off pedals and talking shop, what a treat! Thanks for making me feel so welcome, and thanks for this fabulous tshirt 🧡

If you’d have told me a few weeks ago we have a #2 album on our hands, I wouldn’t have believed it. Watching the rock community show up for us this week has truly blown my mind. You kept an independent ragga/punk/metal band from Wales at the top of the UK Album Chart for a full week and forced a major label to pull every trick they had in their power to topple us from the no.1 spot in the eleventh hour. Thank you so much.
I’m so grateful for ‘SMILE’, the fact we got to make it, and just how banging it is - but more than anything I love that this week we were completely united as a team, working together with our amazing fans to bring home the win. Skindred against the world. It’s all we’ve ever really known and long may it continue.
What I’m choosing to take from this is that no matter how tough things can seem, there is always something wild waiting to happen just around the next corner… Imagine! A band like ours amongst Travis Scott and Taylor Swift. They don’t give you a trophy for number two but this is a win for tenacious, hard working bands like ours & the entire rock music community.
To everyone who helped keep a dream alive, and to our absolutely incredible fans who keep us dreaming big… thank you.
