Media Release: MOE continues to monitor MET Office Weather Alerts
The Ministry of Education (MoE) is working closely with the Ministries of Public Utilities, Rural Development and Local Government, and Works and Transport to monitor the weather situation throughout the day, and should it become necessary, will issue a further release, later today, regarding any adjustments to general school operations on Monday, July 1st, 2024.

✅Media Release: Analysis of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) 2024 Results
A total of 18,177 students wrote the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) in 2024, of which 50.21% (9,127) were male and 49.79% (9,050) were female. In 2024, the mean Mathematics score is 50.7, as compared with 50.4 in 2023. Additionally, the mean English Language Arts Writing
score is 59 compared with 53.4 in 2023, and the mean English Language Arts score is 53.4 compared with 61.6 in 2023.

❗Notice: The Teaching Service Commission has decided that members of the Teaching Service, who are re-assessed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education in specific subject areas, who require an interview to determine their suitability for offices in the Teaching Service namely; Teacher II, Teacher Ill or Technical Vocational Teacher I| or IV, should be given priority over applicants from the general public.
As a result, teachers who are awaiting an interview with the Teaching Service Commission are required to contact the Human Resource Management Division, Secondary Section, of the Ministry of Education by July 05, 2024 and provide details of their assessment.

❗The Ministry of Education wishes to inform all stakeholders that results for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) 2024 examination will be released via the Ministry’s SEA Portal on
Friday 28th June, 2024 at 12:00 am.🗓️
The results can be downloaded from the Ministry’s SEA Portal at https://searesults.moe.gov.tt/. Accessing the SEA Online Portal requires the student’s date of birth, student number, and
admissions number, which are provided on the SEA Admission Slip. Parents who are unable to access the results online are asked to contact their school’s principal during school hours.

❗Media Release: Admission of Migrant Children of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela into Schools in Trinidad and Tobago
🏫Migrant children of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will be admitted into schools in Trinidad and Tobago effective September 2024. This is in compliance with the Immigration (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2024 and applies to Venezuelan nationals under the age of eighteen (18), whose parents registered with the Ministry of National Security (MNS) in 2019 and continue to register annually under the Migrant Registration Framework (MRF).
