Very excited to head to LA to screen my film WINDOWS at @nfmla next weekend March 9 along with a bunch of other great films. Windows is a slice-of-life portrayal of a homeless man that breaks into a stranger’s empty house to try out normal life for a few hours, only to reconnect with something in himself that shakes him to his core. Big thanks to the @portlandeventsandfilmoffice for awarding our web series Hasaan Hates Portland the Amplify Portland production grant. We have five episodes in the can already and this will allow us to complete the rest and get this crazy show out into the world. Feeling grateful to have a second film making its festival premiere this weekend in San Jose: my short HONEY at @sjisff . Plays tomorrow! This was another film made during the pandemic that I wrote, directed, shot, edited and produced myself. Always glad to work with the endless talents of @zay_beacham and @williambillearlray and Josh Weinstein. And always my sound mixer/designer @audiowells . HONEY is about a street robbery that goes sideways when the would-be victim knows more about the robbers than they could ever imagine. Thanks to the festival for having us. Wish I could be there.

Excited as heck to premiere my short WINDOWS tomorrow at the @portlandfilm festival. I wrote, directed, produced, shot and edited this one and I love how it turned out. I knew @zay_beacham was a talented actor before we did this one but he really takes it to the next level as a homeless man confronting something deep inside himself. All without dialogue.
