In a saucepan, melt sugar with 1 cup of water. Bring it to a boil and let it cook until it caramelizes to a deep brown color, taking care not to let it burn completely. Add the caramelized sugar to the reduced milk and stir well. Add yogurt to the mixture, which will cause the milk to split and separate. Continue to cook while stirring until the water evaporates. Heat ghee in a separate pan, add chopped cashews, and then mix this ghee and cashew mixture into the halva along with cardamom powder. Cook until it becomes sticky and reaches a halva-like consistency. Serve this delectable Kaju Kunda warm and enjoy the flavors of Diwali! Fun Fact: Kaju Kunda’s caramelization step is an art!
