12 years ago I was crowned Miss Alaska’s Outstanding Teen & this crazy whirlwind of a journey started. One thing that has always brought me back to this program— the sisterhood. I have met some of the most inspirational, driven, & talented people who all have a heart for their community. The Miss America X Go Red for Women partnership is something that hits close to home. Every day, I interact with those affected by this deadly disease and I see, first hand, the difference that can be made.
