Hi everyone! I am Monica Fenwick, officially signing on as your Miss Connecticut 2024! It is truly an honor to serve as our 95th anniversary Miss CT. To the 94 women who held this title before me— thank you for paving the way for future titleholders like myself. You inspire me daily to withhold the legacy that has been created.
Gina, Miss Connecticut 2023— It is an absolute honor to be crowned by you. Your work as Miss CT has made a lasting impact on your community, this organization, and your sister queens. We love you, thank you for representing us so well.
To my class of 2024– I simply have no words to encompass the amount of love and gratitude I have for each and every one of you. There’s no one else I would have wanted to have shared the stage with. You are stuck with me as a sister for life!
To my board of directors— Thank you for an incredible week. Your dedication to our program does not go unnoticed. Thank you for trusting me to lead as our next Miss Connecticut, and I hope to make you proud!
To my family and friends— The loudest and most hype fan section there is! I would not be where I am today without you. Whether you were in the audience last night, or cheering from home, I felt every bit of love. I am so grateful to be supported by the best!
To my MAO sisters across the country— thank you for your constant support. It’s truly incredible to see the sisterhood spread beyond state lines, even at the local level. It is a privilege to be on this journey together. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

We’re taking Monica’s Miss America head shot in less than THREE WEEKS! 🚨🩵
In February, Monica came in for her photo shoot and we created not only her winning Miss Connecticut head shot together, but stunning branding imagery to serve her as Miss Nutmeg leading up to the competition… and then kick start her year as Miss Connecticut 2024!
She’s already got head shots to send ahead of appearances, images tailored to her personal brand to use in graphics that promote her platform and the organization, and of course glam moments in her gorgeous gown. Now, we get to build on that content library throughout her year as we approach Miss America 👑
If you’ve wanted to book a session with us for a while, I can’t stress this enough — now is the time! You can book your photo shoot for only $280 (normally $850) by having a consultation with me before 7/21. Your photo shoot can take place any time between now and the end of November, so you’ll be ahead of the game before your state competition.

I had SO much fun today during my on air interview with Chaz and AJ! Not only did we talk about Miss America prep and my community service initiative, but we also talked about my food fears and AJ’s “flubbles.”🤣 It was a fun opportunity to share my personality with listeners across the state, with the goal of showcasing that you don’t have to hide your personality to be successful in pageants!😊

As I bid farewell to this incredible journey as Miss Connecticut 2023, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. This year has been filled with unforgettable moments, inspiring people, and opportunities that have forever changed my life. I am deeply thankful for the unwavering support from my family, friends, and the amazing Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization.
To everyone who believed in me and walked this path alongside me, your love and encouragement have meant the world. I have grown in ways I never imagined, and I am proud of the work we’ve accomplished together. From supporting local communities to advocating for important causes, we’ve made a meaningful impact.
As I pass on the crown, I am excited for the next Miss Connecticut to experience this extraordinary journey.
