Breakfast on the Farm is always so much fun. I proudly volunteered to serve and prepare breakfast for over 1300 people. This inspiring event will celebrate the achievements of five students, granting them scholarships to pursue their aspirations and create a brighter future! @missgalaxypageant

I attended this event earlier this year as an Australia Galaxy National Finalist. It was so beautiful seeing the volunteers faces again and the big cheer I received when I told them I had won my Mrs Galaxy Australia title 👑✨
I had a blast chatting with the amazing attendees and volunteers at this event where we sold secondhand books to raise funds for Lifeline.
Lifeline is national charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention 🙌
The energy at Bookfest was palpable, with book lovers of all ages eagerly browsing through the vast collection of pre-loved books. From timeless classics to contemporary bestsellers, there was something for everyone. The enthusiasm of the volunteers was infectious, and their dedication to such a noble cause was truly inspiring.
Throughout the day, I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people who shared their own stories of how Lifeline had impacted their lives. It was heart warming to see a community come together in support of mental health and wellbeing.
As the event came to a close, I couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible experience and the meaningful connections made. The Lifeline Bookfest was more than just a book sale; it was a celebration of community, resilience, and the power of giving back. I am already looking forward to the next event in November and the opportunity to contribute once again to this vital cause!

As an immigrant myself, I know just how important it is to receive a warm welcome when coming to a new country, especially in a place as cold as Canada. It is an immense honour and privilege to have been a volunteer and speaker of today’s oath-taking/citizenship event. Additionally, I was able to meet our city mayor and other political figurs, as well as connect with my fellow immigrants.
