Signing on as your new Miss Missouri USA 2024, I am Ashleigh Bedwell! ✨👑 @ashleighlorene 8 years of hard work, determination and a dream came to fruition yesterday as I was named the new Miss Missouri USA 2024. Words can’t begin to describe the emotions I have felt in the last 24 hours. I am full of gratitude to have been selected to represent the entire state of Missouri on the @missusa stage on August 4th in Hollywood, CA! Thank you to my fiancé, family and friends for never giving up on me or my dreams, even when they seem out of reach. The Vannatta’s (John M. Vannatta Jr.Jason VannattaJennifer Vannatta-FisherKaren Kelly Elliott)for believing in me and making me feel apart of the Vanbros family every year that I came back hoping to secure the title. You are the heartbeat of the organization and keep the girls wanting to come back year after year! To my hometown of Campbell, the Heartland and the entire state of MO, I am proof that small town girls can achieve big things! More thanks to come but just know I am overwhelmed at the love and support I have received. To the MO class of 2024, you were fierce and I am honored to represent each and every one of the amazing women who I competed alongside this weekend. Hi everyone! I am Ashleigh Bedwell and I am beaming with joy to officially introduce myself as the new Miss Missouri USA 2024 ✨ A few facts about me: 🤍 This was my 8th year competing at Miss Missouri USA/Teen USA. I competed twice in Miss Missouri Teen USA, receiving 2nd runner up in 2015 and a semifinalist in 2016. I competed 6 times in the Miss Missouri USA pageant placing 3rd runner up in 2017, 1st runner up in 2018, semifinalist in 2019, non-semifinalist in 2021, semifinalist in 2022, and finally secured the title of Miss Missouri USA in 2024! My journey has been long but I hope to be an inspiration to anyone still competing that your day will come! 🤍 I am 25 years old and will be 26 in November! 🤍 I graduated nursing school in 2023 and currently work as a nurse while attending school to further my nursing career! My goal as a nurse is to always make my patients feel heard and valued as my own medical team did for me when I was younger. 🤍 I live and work on a farm with cattle and chickens and I also planted my first garden this year - this has been so much fun to harvest and eat healthy, clean foods that I have grown myself! 🤍 I had heart surgery when I was 14 years old for a condition called Supraventricular Tachycardia where they found 27 spots to treat on my heart. I advocate for the American Heart Association because my passion is found in helping those whose voices aren’t heard when they know something is wrong but their condition is hard to detect!
