Hey Insta! My name is Arianna Tice (@shining.starianna ) and I am so excited for my first year of service in the Miss America Organization as your 2024 Miss Pride of New York! Some fun facts about me: • I am a SAG-AFTRA actress and my latest work is in Ben Platt's new film Theater Camp, now streaming on Hulu 🎥 • This past May, I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in Theatre Arts (Performance Concentration) and a minor in Deaf Studies 🎓 • My first car was pink with eyelashes 🩷 Thank you all for your support, it's going to be an amazing year with my sister queens! A week ago today, I held my second annual event in Newark, New Jersey through my non-profit organization, @melaninmagicpageantry ! Thank you to all the contestants and families that joined us. It was so much fun and I'm proud of every girl that went up on stage. I already can't wait for next year's pageant! 👑✨ This is a perfect representation of my CSI, Accessible Pageantry. By participating, every single contestant gained invaluable personal and professional development, such as communication and public speaking, networking, setting/achieving goals, self-esteem, good sportsmanship, community service – qualities of productive citizenship. They also received a cash scholarship, large prize package, lunch, crown, and sash. This was all given for an extremely affordable registration fee, in a community where pageantry is generally inaccessible. Fun Fact: Our judges this year were my sister queens, @missempirerose & @missmetropolitanny . And we also received a donation from @missfiveboroughsny ❤️

*LONG POST* Walking into Miss New York week, I'm immensely proud of the human I've become. As a person who grew up with debilitating social anxiety, high functioning depression, and a low socioeconomic status, I could’ve never imagined standing where I am today. A college graduate, SAG-AFTRA actress, and Miss America local titleholder. But more importantly, a better sister, daughter, friend, and role model. This journey has provided me with a new voice that I use to advocate for causes I believe in, volunteer in my community, and heal my inner child. Honoring my past self by growing to a point that I don't recognize her is one of my greatest accomplishments. With that being said, here’s my CSI breakdown of my impact this year in 14 states across the country: 👑 I've provided contestants with low cost hair & makeup services 46 TIMES!!! That's an average of 3 girls per pageant weekend with my highest actual count being 8 girls in one weekend. 👑 Through dress drives and from my own closet, I've donated & mailed gently used pageant attire to new owners in Arizona, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, Texas, Virginia, New York, and New Jersey! This method of recycling is not only good for our planet, but our wallets as well. 👑 Through one fundraiser alone, I've collected items totaling over $2,000 in value for the @missnewyorkorg to raffle off during state week. I've raised additional thousands of dollars for the organization as a Top 3 frontrunner in the People's Choice vote, through Empire Star registrations, ticket sales, and more. 👑 I've expanded my CSI to include coaching & training services with a group of 7 girls. We meet on Fridays to practice and prepare for their next pageants in the areas of Interview, Formal Wear, Fitness, and more. 👑 I held my second annual event through my non-profit organization in a community where pageantry is generally inaccessible! Pageants numbers 14 and 15 were another double header! Ending my pageant weekend series close to home in Jersey; with both hair & makeup services and coaching. This pageant season has been nothing short of amazing!
