Day 3: service initiative. My platform is a life changing one and one I deal with every day. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at a very young age. Through the help of my parents and teachers I was able to get the right education that fit my learning styles. Now I work as an advocate to teach educators and parents how to identify the signs of dyslexia and help those with this challenge learn techniques, build confidence and strengthen their abilities. I have created and developed a Dyslexia Tool Kit using a variety of techniques that help me.

Mini Chalkboard - a fun reminder to use our mental chalkboard, but also provides an in-hand resource

I truly believe that it’s so important that we share and care for everyone, no matter what the situation. Through this initiative, I have not only been able to share smiles with my friends and family on birthdays, pageant days, etc. but also have hosted Sharing Smiles events. Through these events with my pageant sisters, I have loved on and cared for so many in our community and beyond!

Miss Ultimate USA Photo Challenge Day Three: Ultimate Service Initiative! My Ultimate Service Initiative, Community Connections, serves the community with the purpose of educating and advocating for the youngest members of the community. There are four mains ways I accomplish this goal, which are all represented in these photos. The first way is by sharing foster care facts and misconceptions by working with Lorain County Children Services to post my weekly Welfare Wednesday education posts. The second way is by hosting and participating in events that serve has fundraisers for child welfare programs, such as modeling in the Blessing House Tea. The third way is by providing tangible support to welfare programs by creating donation drives, such as the Domestic Violence Survivors Care Packages I provided for Valentine’s Day. The fourth way involves serving on the Youth of Lorain County Equity and Equality board which enables me to work with Ohio legislators to help ensure equality in our schools.

Day 3 of the Ultimate USA photo challenge is about Service Initiatives. “Grow Your Magic” is my advocacy for making sure every young individual knows their worth. As someone who was bullied growing up, I struggled with my self-esteem. I had to learn how to gain and maintain my self-worth as I got older.
Through “Grow Your Magic” I teach about self-esteem and self-confidence and its importance in growing up. I am able to raise awareness by beginning the conversation and leaving the kids with tips and affirmations to help prepare them for the moments in life when they may not feel great about themselves.

Day 3 of the Miss Ultimate USA Social Media Challenge: Ultimate Initiative🎗️
My Ultimate Initiative is All For Ali which raises awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and supports families impacted by it. All for Ali was started in memory of a beautiful little girl, named Ali, who battled childhood leukemia for most her life before passing away from this nasty disease. My organization means the world to me, and I hope everyday that I am making Ali proud. Fun fact: I never take off my Ali bracelet (unless I’m competing in a pageant or have a photoshoot, but it’s still in my crown case). It feels like I get to take her with me wherever I go and she gets to experience everything I experience.
