Receiving this incredible award on this beautiful stage at The Global Beauty Awards from @mrsaliceleeg felt like a true dream come true. Beyond the stunning trophy and the honor it represents, what truly moved me was the loving applause and cheers I received from the very people I admire most! To be loved by a community that is full of some of the most accomplished and impressive leaders within the beauty and pageant industry is something that cannot be explained or captured by a physical object.
I left Washington with a new sense of calm and purpose. This experience proved that hard work, kindness, perseverance, and service to others can take you places beyond your wildest imagination!

Allow me to introduce myself…
I am Misti Nordstrom, your new Mrs. North America 2024! I am proud to begin this new journey with The International Ms Pageant System and continue my humanitarian work that is so close to my heart.
It’s true, we don’t need a crown to make a difference, but from my personal experiences in pageantry, I can honestly say that the crown brings more attention to our causes and global efforts.
As a woman entering her 50’s, I have had the honor of holding titles on local, state, regional, and international scales. No matter the title, I have been amazed by the opportunities these crowns have brought to my life. These days, the world is sad, dark, and violent. It is the perfect time to bring light, hope, and kindness to my community- in whatever ways I know how. As an educator, my days are long and challenging as I work to teach our future leaders and remind young people that hard work can make dreams come true. As a mother and wife, I strive to prioritize my family, reminding my husband and daughters that they mean everything to me and motivate me to be the best version of myself possible.
As an advocate for organ donation registration, being a titleholder has given me so many unique opportunities to raise awareness, share the inspirational stories, and offer support to those who are awaiting life-saving transplants and families whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifices.
There is so much work to be done. I can’t do it alone. I hope you will follow my journey and be a part of this mission to change the lives of people who need our help!
At the end of the day, I’m just Misti. I am following my heart and seizing every chance this life has to offer!

Looking for a magical combination?
Dinner at @hellskitchen with @gordongram and seeing the @agtclairvoyants at @foxwoods did not disappoint!!
Our meals were exquisite and to top off our night, we enjoyed a truly unforgettable show with the one and only @agtclairvoyants ! I was a big fan of this duo years back when they first appeared on @agt but seeing them up close and personal was a whole different level. I was mesmerized by every moment of their performance. To my surprise, I was invited on stage to share an item from my handbag. Of course, Amalie, while blindfolded knew that the strange object I chose was a flat bottle of hand sanitizer. She then read of its expiration date which was in the tiniest font. I have no idea how they do what they do, except that it is pure magic!! This was their last stop on their tour across North America, but they promise to return to Foxwoods again. I can’t wait!!

Get to know your 2024 International Mrs. North America, Misti Nordstrom! 🇺🇸
👑I have been an advocate for organ donation registration for close to 2 decades after losing my brother at the young age of 23 from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was my only sibling and a registered organ donor. I decided to turn my grief into a mission to help save more lives in his memory by spreading the message about the incredible need for the registration rates to increase.
👑I am the Founder of The Show Me Your Heart Campaign. This campaign allows me to highlight stories about the power of organ donation through interviews with donor families, recipients, and those who are currently waiting for life-saving organ transplants.
👑I am a nationally recognized STEM Educator. As a teacher for 25 years teaching various math and science courses at the middle and high school levels, I was recognized by President Barack Obama for excellence in teaching within the stem field.
🤩I recently won Best Talent 36+ at The Global Beauty Awards. I have been a vocalist for many years-debuting my first performance at 12 years old and since then, performing for audiences all over the country. I won 3 episodes on an Emmy award winning talent show, and released an album featuring songs to help people through the stages of bereavement. I do love singing and was honored to share my love of music as a glee club director for young children for many years.
👑I love fashion and design! I have such an appreciation for fashion and have created my own sense of style that mixes vintage and modern. I love statement pieces, classic looks, hats, scarves, brooches… you name it! A structured ballgown with a unique flair is my favorite.
👑I am a mom to two daughters, Hannah (25) and Ireland (18) and wife to my husband, Danny for almost 27 years! My family is my everything and I feel like the luckiest woman to have them by my side.

You aren’t going to believe me, but it’s true! This stunning beauty, @katrina_spagnoletti is turning 60 today! That’s not a typo… She is celebrating 6 decades of fabulosity and I am so grateful to know her and call her my dear friend! She inspires me and really reminds us all that age is just a number. She has an extensive list of accomplishments including being crowned Mrs. Florida, Elite Queen of the World, she is a successful author, and is launching her own skincare line @je_suis_beauty_llc . You know we all want it if she uses it!! She won Best Supporter at the recent Global Beauty Awards, and talk about being most deserving. Katrina has supported me from day one when I jumped into the world of pageants for married women- long before we even met in person! She is an absolute blessing in my life and a true sister to me.
