We’re on our way to NATIONALS! Our last rehearsal and potluck party was AMAZING!!! Lots of hugs, hard work, love, friendship, and support…we are SO excited to be able to share these moments and make these special memories with our dancers every season! @believetalent here we come! AND-Thank You to the dance Moms & Dads who go out of their way to make special food and snacks for everyone! It was delicious!

Hi, I’m Abbe and I will be attending the University at Buffalo to study political science/theater management. I have enjoyed spending the past 4 years with the people I call my family. Some of my favorite memories at MJ’s has to be from when we went to Nationals in Disney. Being able to spend a week with my dance friends, performing in a Disney parade and ending my week winning a national title with them, was such a special moment in my life. Another amazing memory has to be being able to student teach with Ms. Korrine over the course of my 4 years. Teaching dance to kids always made my Saturday! My favorite performance has to be “Breezeblocks” by the amazing Ms. Toni. I have always loved my dances with Ava, Haley, and Giovanna. Getting to create these characters and perform them for the audience was truly something I enjoyed. Some advice I’d give to my team-is to enjoy every last second of dance, on and off the stage. It all goes away so fast and you don’t realize until it’s almost over. Leave everything on the stage because it truly is one of the best places to be, I will miss it a lot. I love my MJ’s family and i know they all have amazing futures ahead of them! @asiegel2006
“Hi! My name is Molly and I will be pursuing chemistry at the College of William and Mary in fall! I cannot believe I am a senior at MJ’s and these past 4 years have gone by so fast. Out of all the memories I’ve created throughout my time here, my favorite has to be performing on the finals stage at Hollywood Studios at our Nationals in Disney. Getting to perform on a real Disney production stage with my team was an unforgettable feeling. My favorite dance I was a part of has to be Miss Toni’s “I Know The End” lyrical group piece last season. That dance was truly art, and being able to be so vulnerable in the classroom and on stage made me so proud to perform it each time. Lastly, some advice I’d give my team is to always stick together. No matter what may be going on, teamwork leads to success. I always admired the fact that I could tell my teammates went out on the stage not only for themselves, but even more for their fellow members. I had the pleasure of dancing with the best team I could ever ask for and I love them all so much!” @mollybdances_

“Hi i’m Giovanna or as some of you may know me as Miss Giovanna. I will be attending Nassau Community College for a liberal arts degree in health sciences. I’ve been dancing at MJ’s for the past 4 years and it was the best dance days of my life. There are so many amazing memories with my team that I’m honored to call family. One of my favorites has to be winning The World Dance Championship in Disney World! Over the years, I have performed many amazing pieces, but my top favorite had to be “Breezeblocks” performed by my best friends Ava, Abbe, Haley and I. Breezeblocks was choreographed by the incredibly talented miss Toni Carbone. @misstoni5 Lastly, to my amazing team, I want to encourage you guys to keep working hard on your dance goals. Never ever give up because something seems too hard. Work your way to the top-because each and every one of you deserve it. I’m so proud of all of you and your accomplishments this far. “Hi i’m Haley and I will be attending Marist college in the fall and majoring in Fashion Merchandising. One of my favorite memories dancing at MJ’s was getting to travel for competitions and nationals. They each taught me something new about myself, brought fun times with friends, and pushed me to go outside my comfort zone and try new things. My favorite dance i’ve done was Amen which was our lyrical dance from last year. I feel like that dance was so special to me because it brought us together so much as a team and was able to connect all of us on an emotional level. You could feel the love we all felt for this dance as well as the love we all had for each other every time we stepped onto that stage. Finally my message I leave to my team is to hold on to that special bond you guys have. We have a family bond like no other which has always set us apart. Also remember who you are and don’t compare yourself to others. you are all special in your own way and lastly don’t hold yourself back from trying something new. You never know what you will love until you try it. I love you all so much and it is so hard to say goodbye.
