Fluent in Pink Prom 🎀🪩 June 20th, 2024
It’s been one week since the most rewarding night of my entire career. Last Thursday, in honor of National Pink Day on June 23rd, I hosted a Prom through my community Fluent in Pink. I could have NEVER imagined in my wildest dreams that we would sell out of tickets before the event. 75 incredible members and I danced the night away!
The most special part of the night, that still has me in tears every time I think about it, was the community-nominated Prom Royalty. Crowning these beautiful members was such an honor.
Starting FiP came from a place of wanting to reclaim my femininity and showcase how empowering it is to be confident in my likes. Liking pink, or anything feminine, is always seen as “silly” — even the word “girly” has a negative, immature connotation. The purpose of building this community has been to squash that.

This also wouldn’t have been possible without my friends who jumped in to set up early & clean everything up the same night without question.
This is just the beginning of Prom content! I have so much more to share and can’t wait to bring you along with me on the best night ever.
