Devon (and Cornwall) summers hit different. A boat trip, Stately home, long walk, time on the beach, ice cream and (most importantly) family time fills my cup like nothing else. Honestly, such a lovely weekend. I love these mini adventures!
We took the ferry from Plymouth across to Mount Edgcumbe House (£5 each way for 2 adults and 2 toddlers) and spent the day in the grounds. Super easy with the girls, the only tricky access was carrying the pram on and off the boat (Ben 💪).
On our return we stopped for drinks in the sun at @royalwilliamyd and explored the stunning architecture before heading home.
Would highly recommend as a family day out!

Strike a pose…✨
One thing that is often said to me is “I don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera, please don’t make me pose” and for the most part I don’t.
And when I do, it will probably be a little silly! Whether that’s through silly prompts, telling you my naughtiest joke or some additional props.
We’ll always get the photos for the mantle piece but we’ll get some fun ones in there too!
A what a perfectly lovely day!
Today we were painting with watercolour and drawing with ink in Plymouth … well, officially in Cornwall. This Field of Flowers workshop was simply beautiful. We drew, we painted, we talked and walked and laughed. We loved being outside - except when it rained and we had to take shelter. (Thanks to the Orangery for coffee & cake!) We made new friends and learned new skills. We ate delicious food, bought some gorgeous gifts and went home with artwork to finish, feeling inspired and looking forward to more!
