It is a bit comical because little Kooper here is the runt of the litter! He was the second kitten to be born at 1:35am. He has such a unique marking and colorings. She holds a special place for me as she is the same coloring of my 20 year old cat I lost late last year. The babies are here! Ella went into labor early this morning around 1:00am and thankfully we were up to see her give birth! She gave birth to three little ones by 2:30am and, by the time we woke up in the morning, there was a fourth! This is fostering. This is why I do this. I’m so happy that I’m able to give her a loving space to raise these babies in. I encourage anyone who is able to foster to reach out to your local shelter, especially around this time of year.
