I received my crown and sash in the mail, and I was so excited that I didn’t even think to video the unboxing. This honor brings back memories of my days in the county fair pageant, especially the dress I found at Plato’s Closet. My mom drove an hour and a half to get it while I was on a youth trip, and I begged the store to hold it for her. I paid $80 for that dress, which you can see in the last photo.
Now, as Mrs. Southern States, I recently had the privilege of judging a county fair pageant in Kentucky. It’s a full circle moment, and I am forever grateful.
