This and my twitter account are the ONLY accounts I have! (Seriously, though. The other people are lying to you. Which sucks. Don’t believe them)

I am about to start a new acting job. So my life is a lot busier than it typically is. It’s a funny time in the life of a TV series bc I am building a character but also dealing with logistics and meeting new people and feeling the uncertainty of what set will be like. It is never like this again on any particular show. And I admit, I am happy to have this part end and the daily work begin. But I am trying to live this beginning in a slightly different way. Anyway. The pics are 1) from that @kristinecofskyphotography shoot from early last year bc I haven’t posted it. Ha. 2) pretty vancouver beach days. 3) KLM houses in pretty morning light.

This is 41. Thank you for your lovely bday messages. Touches my grumbly heart. I have nothing profound for y’all. The pictures are from recent days and many of my favorite things. Walks and nature and books (that is probably my last fiction read of the year and tons of fun) and travels and old buildings and the friends and family that live just beyond the camera’s lens. Hope you all had a year filled with love, learning, generosity, and curiosities piqued and pursued. May your final days of 2023 be cozy. Muah!!

Book number two in books gifted to me from people at conventions! “The Red Notebook” by Antoine Laurain. This was given to me by Virginie in either Dortmund or Telford this past spring. This sweet little novel (that you can probs finish in a single sitting) is about a man who finds a woman’s purse on a Parisian street and, after reading her notebook, becomes a wee bit obsessed. I mean. That sounds creepy. However, it manages to be a sweet little love story. And if you are craving a Parisian setting, this may tickle your fancy. Thank you, Virginie! (Ana, I will do one of yours next💃🏻) Also: cute green outfit from @evegravel

September things. Book excerpts are from “Geographies of Exclusion” by David Sibley and “Devil House” by John Darnielle. The latter is a critique of true crime as a genre housed in a novel about a true crime writer (although I didn’t *love* the book, the ideas resonated and have stuck with me… I am critical of true crime and Darnielle really dissects the genre from multiple vantage points here). The former is a nonfiction work exploring how some groups are signaled as being unwelcome in public spaces (I took a critical urban geography class in school and this scratches that itch).

I dunno. I’m just making reels highlighting outside places now. This one is Cairngorms.
