This Earth Day, we’re super excited to announce that @aim_uk and the @bpi_music have appointed @creativezerouk ’s @roxyerickson to lead the next phase of the Music Climate Pact 🌎 The Pact aims to bring music businesses together in response to COP26 and the urgent call for collective action to combat the climate crisis. This next phase for the Pact has been facilitated by a partnership between @aim_uk and @murmurearth , a new strategic climate fund uniting the music and visual arts industries to address climate change. Murmur launches today, uniting the art and music sectors to raise funds and advocate for solutions to climate change. Our mission is to fund initiatives to help our industries to decarbonise; to finance transformative climate work; and to empower artists’ voices to create major societal change. Murmur has already raised over £1 million in pledges from the visual art and music worlds to help lead and drive change - and this is just the beginning. Partners commit to measure and reduce their own emissions in line with climate science and to contribute funds to Murmur to finance transformative climate action.
