What truly fuels my creative fire is the ability to celebrate Blackness in all its unique expressions and energies through my lens. It brings me great joy to showcase Black folks in a positive, honest light while fostering genuine connections with my subjects and capturing their authentic essence.
This campaign for Target is nothing short of a dream realized. Target’s presence in my life is a blend of memories and my everyday experience — from my morning coffee routine to hosting dinner parties and game nights with friends to my self-care rituals, and so on. The Black Beyond Measure initiative is the icing on the cake, featuring beloved brands, peers, and homies who inspire me daily. This story, celebrating the sheer exuberance of our everyday Black existence, is something I wholeheartedly cherish. To contribute to this is an honor.
